Freshman Tavon Parker continued his outstanding offensive play, averaging 22.5 points on 48 percent shooting from the field and 50 percent shooting from three in a pair of back-to-back road games. Parker followed last week's career high of 23 with a new career high of 26 points in 29 minutes at Mercyhurst. Parker hit 5-of-8 3-pointers, 7-of-8 from the line and 7-of-12 shots overall. He also added two steals. It was the most points scored by a Marauder freshman since 2010. On Saturday at Mansfield, Parker hit 4-of-10 threes and poured in 19 points in just 18 minutes of play. He also grabbed six boards. Parker has scored at least 19 points in three consecutive games and double figures in four in a row. He has hit 18 of his last 32 3-pointers.
