Freshman 133-pounder Josh Ruppert went 3-0 in duals against Davidson, Gardner-Webb and Campbell. Two of his three wins came by fall. He opened the day with a pin of Davidson's Anthony Elias in just 22 seconds. It was the team's fastest pin of the year. He followed it with a 7-2 decision over Campbell's Joey Rizzolino. He closed the day by pinning Gardner-Webb's Robbie Gould at the 5:27 mark. Ruppert is now tied for the team lead in pins this year.
