Shane Smith took third place at 174 at the annual “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic Sunday in Pucillo Gymnasium. Smith recorded a 6-1 record in the event, with his only loss coming to the eventual champion. After collecting the six decisions Smith now has 76 wins in his Marauder career, which makes him just the 27th wrestler in school history to have more than 70 wins.
