Junior Sarah Signore performed at the plate and in the circle for the Marauders last week. In 10 games, she hit 11-for-27 (.407) with two doubles, five RBIs and seven runs scored. She finished the week with a flourish, totaling eight hits in 15 at bats with seven runs and four RBIs in the final four games. While pitching, she moved into second in single season strikeouts and became the first MU pitcher to reach 100 strikeouts in a season since 2004. She fanned 13 batters Sunday against Holy Family.
