Joann Langione

Joann Caminiti Langione, a 2007 graduate of Millersville, rejoined the program in 2009 as an assistant coach.

She was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Dean’s List student as a biology major and standout player for four seasons. She finished her career ranked 12th on the school’s all-time goals list with 95.

As a senior in 2007, she served as a team captain and was named All-PSAC Second Team after posting the 18th-best single season goal total in school history with 35. Langione scored at least 17 goals and 20 points in each of her four seasons with the Marauders.

She also tallied 95 ground balls, 59 draw controls and 35 caused turnovers during her career.

Langione gained coaching experience by spending a season as an assistant at nearby Penn Manor High School.

Langione graduated cum laude from Millersville with a degree in molecular biology/biotechnology.

Presently, she works at Lancaster Laboratories as a scientist/biochemist.
