Women's Outdoor Track and Field

- Title:
- Student Assistant
In 2013-14, both the cross country and track and field teams took great strides in Mulvey's first season as a student assistant. She helped Young guide the cross country team to a 12th-place finish at the PSAC Championship and a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Regional. For track and field, the indoor team placed sixth out of 14 teams at the PSAC Championships and it was Millersville's best team finish in that event since 2008. The outdoor team did even better though. It finished third out of 14 teams at the PSAC Championships for the Marauders' best finish in the outdoor conference meet since 1996 when they won the event. Millersville also sent Kiara Allen to the NCAA Championships where she placed eighth in her heat of the 100-meter dash.
Sarah Mulvey joined head coach Andy Young's cross country staff as a student assistant prior to the 2013 season. Before that, she ran cross country and specialized in distance running on the track from 2009-12.
Mulvey was twice named as an All-PSAC Scholar athlete and as a junior, she was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
Prior to Millersville, Mulvey ran track and cross country for Boyertown High School.
