With DiFlorio as a member of Andy Young's staff In 2013-14, the cross country and track and field teams both had great success. He helped Young guide the cross country team to a 12th-place finish at the PSAC Championship and a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Regional. For track and field, the indoor team placed sixth out of 14 teams at the PSAC Championships and it was Millersville's best team finish in that event since 2008. The outdoor team did even better though. It finished third out of 14 teams at the PSAC Championships for the Marauders' best finish in the outdoor conference meet since 1996 when they won the event. Millersville also sent Kiara Allen to the NCAA Championships where she placed eighth in her heat of the 100-meter dash.
Kevin DiFlorio spent his first two years at Millersville as an athlete with the cross country and track and field teams. He joined Andy Young's staff as a student assistant prior to the 2012 cross country season. During the 2013 women's cross country season, DiFlorio was part of a staff that helped the team finished 12th at the PSAC Championships and 15th out of 22 teams at the NCAA Atlantic Regional.
DiFlorio was a mid-distance specialist on the track, qualifying for the PSAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the 800-meter run. He was All-PSAC as a member of the 4x800-meter relay team at the 2012 indoor championships.
