Troy Jensen

Troy Jensen joined the Millersville football coaching staff prior to the 2019 season. In his first season working with the defensive backs, he helped Tyler Patron-Penn earn All-PSAC East honors.

Jensen came to Millersville after coaching safeties and serving as the academic coordinator at Alvernia.

Jensen also has an extensive resume as an area high school coach. He was the head coach at Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pa., from 2015-18. He also worked as the defensive coordinator at Susquehanna Township where he helped the team to a 10-3 2012 season with two playoff wins. From 2006-11, he was the defensive coordinator at Northeastern High School, helping the team to a YAIAA Division II Co-Championship in 2011. Jensen also served as the defensive backs coach at Red Land High School for four seasons, winning a District 3 title in 2006.

Jensen played Division I football as a safety for the San Jose Spartans. He was named All-Big West Second Team and finished his career with 13 interceptions--the second-most in program history. Jensen also played semi-pro football with the Central Penn Piranha in 2004-05. He was named an NAFL All-Star both seasons and was voted the co-defensive MVP in 2004.Â
