Mary Weiss is named the 2025-26 PSAC Track and Field Champion Scholar
ERIE, Pa. - Before the start of the 2025-26 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the conference named senior Mary Weiss as the recipient of the 2026 PSAC Women's Track and Field Champion Scholar Award.
Initiated for the 2011-12 academic year, the PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 awards and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's team championship finals.
Weiss completed a perfect senior year, earning a 4.0 GPA while accumulating more than 140 credits. She will graduate with a degree in biology and was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team in 2025. Weiss becomes just the seventh Marauder in program history to receive the honor and the first member of the track and field team to earn the distinction.
