Four Marauders earn automatic bids in final meet of regular season

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The Marauders punched four more tickets to the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the West Chester Last Chance, earning their first bids of the season in the 400-meter hurdles and 1,500-meter run.

- A trio of Marauders got in under the qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles, with Mary Weiss, Miranda Jimenez, and Lily LaBure earning spots in their final chances of the season. Weiss finished second with a time of 1:05.63, Jimenez was third with 1:05.82, and LaBure rounded out the group with a fourth-place finish of 1:05.90.
- The fourth conference meet bid came from Olivia Sunderland in the 1,500-meter run. Sunderland finished with a time of 4:52.91 and will be the Marauders' lone representative in that event at the conference meet.
- Megan Malecki ended the regular season on a high note, improving her season best mark with a second-place finish of 12-5 1/2.
- A handful of Marauders are waiting for the final entries across the conference to see if they finished in the top-20 spots of their events for bids to the conference meet. Those athletes are Danika Bolinsky in the triple jump, Aubrey Bitner in the pole vault, Brye Wojcik in the 400-meter dash, and Lindsay Solderitch in the 800-meter run.

- The Marauders have a week to prepare for their final meet of the season, the PSAC Outdoor Championships. The meet is hosted by Slippery Rock and will start on Thursday, May 8.
