ABOUT THE MEET

  • With just two competitions left until the PSAC Championships, the Millersville swimming team looks to close its dual schedule strong Saturday against the California Vulcans. This will be the 12th meeting between these two programs since the first dual in 2002. Cal U currently leads the series 10-1.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS

  • Since returning from winter break, the Marauders are 2-2 with victories over Arcadia and Franklin & Marshall. In the dual over F&M, the Marauders came away with a dominating 152-90 victory.
  • Jane McClelland and Izabella Wreski continued to show up for the Marauders, taking first and second in the 1,000 free.
  • Leah Eckert earned first in the 50 breast, with her best time of the meet (31.29).
  • Prior to the meet, Millersville salutes its five seniors: Ava Adiletti, Jewels Hepner, Jordan Plempel, Lindsay Robbins and Mackenzie Yosko.

SCOUTING THE VULCANS

  • Cal U began their season back on Oct.11 at the PSAC Invitational where they finished in eighth place overall. Since then, the Vulcans have moved to a 4-3 record. Similar to the Marauders, the Vulcans are looking to bounce back from back-to-back dual losses to Edinboro and Clarion.
