'Ville cheerleaders place sixth at UCA College Nationals

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Millersville University cheerleading team produced a magical weekend, starring on a national stage and capturing a sixth-place finish in the All Girl DI Game Day Division of the 2025 UCA College National Championship hosted at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
The All Girl Division I Game Day competition featured 22 teams, including 14 from the Division I ranks and three PSAC teams. Millersville's 93.0667 score in the finals topped Kutztown (eighth) and West Chester (11th) for the top spot among PSAC teams.
Led by coaches Daniela Debernardo and Taylor Ochmanowicz, it was Millersville's second year competing at nationals, and the sixth-place finish is a three-spot improvement from the 2024 competition.
"This year's group of athletes was able to build off last year and establish a reputation for the program in the competitive college cheerleading world," said Debernardo. "Along with their high quality of athletic development, this year's team has an outstanding ability to work together with pride and passion, compete with camaraderie, and develop a culture where all athletes are celebrated."
