PSAC releases its 2024 Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The PSAC released its 2024 Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon. The conferences' coaches voted Millersville to finish eighth in the PSAC East in this season's edition after finishing in that position to end last year. Shippensburg took the top spot in the East while Gannon did so in the West.
Despite the finish, the Marauders were in contention for a playoff spot heading into the final weekend of play. One clear advantage this year's team has over last season's is experience and continuity; each of last year's top seven players in sets played have returned for 2024 as well as 11 of the top 12. 13 of 18 players are returning overall, including a pair of 2023 All-PSAC East honorees in Taylor Welter and Emma Ludwig. Add to those four freshmen and one transfer, and the Marauders are set up to improve on the 2023 campaign's 9-19 (3-11) mark.
Women's volleyball will begin its journey at the yearly Marauder Clash on Sept. 6 at 11, when they host Wilmington in the Student Memorial Center. The rest of the poll's results can be found below.
