FROSTBURG, Md. – The Marauders defeated Frostburg State on Sunday afternoon, going 2–0 on the weekend and now standing at 7–6 on the season.
Despite a tough time in doubles play as
Lino Morin and
Sebas Castro got the only win, the Millersville was able to dominate individual matches.
Dylan Tull started the slate with a 6–4, 6–1 win, and Morin completed his day with a 6–4, 6–0 win.
Valentin Ebner won 6–1, 7–6, and
Breno Maciel came away with a 3–6, 6–3, 10–2 win.
Jasper de Koning closed things out for the Marauders with a 6–0, 6–2 win.
After a successful weekend and now a game above .500, the Marauders will look to continue their three-match winning streak against Shepherd at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9 in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
