ABOUT THE GAME

  • The Millersville Marauders (4-10, 2-8) will square off with the Shepherd Rams (5-10, 3-8) for the second time this season. Millersville lost the initial encounter on the road, falling 19-15 to the Rams. Seeking vengeance, the Marauders look to get back in the win column as the dropped both games last week to Shippensburg and Kutztown. Meanwhile, the Rams are on a four-game losing streak, with their most current 20-11 defeat against No. 2 West Chester.

Ashlyn Simonetti, Millersville's second leading goal scorer, has recorded 26 goals, including one coming from their last game against Kutztown.
  • Ella Linthicum's continues to showcase her lacrosse IQ as she still sits at the top as Millersville's top assister with 18. Able to find the back of the net as well, Linthicum has netted 17 goals thus far.
  • A first-year player, KC O'Neill,  has been the starter in net for the Marauders the past four games. In the five games she has played, she has 66 goals gaainst, 45 saves, anda. .401 save percentage. O'Neill has a 1-3 record when starting in net.

  • The Rams' offense revolves through Kelsey King, who leads the Rams in goals scored with 45, accompanied with 10 assists. Katie Paredes, Shepherd's second leading goal scorer, has contributed 25 goals. With patience and playmaking ability, Shanna Dextrader has been the most successful on the team in finding her teammates as she leads the team with assists tallying 17.
  • Destiny Rockwell serves as the primary goalkeeper for the Rams as she has started and played in all 15 games. Over the course of these games, Rockwell has logged 900 minutes, with 215 goals against, and a 14.33 goal-against average. She has saved 150 shots this season, resulting in a .411 save percentage. Rockwell ranks second in the PSAC with saves per game, averaging 10.07.
