Track & field wraps up regular season at Paul Kaiser Classic

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – In their last meet before the PSAC Outdoor Championships, the Marauders competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg University.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Sarah Hessler won the discus throw with a distance of 140-11. Seya Trujillo was right behind her in third place with a throw of 130-8.
Trujillo finished second in the hammer throw with 156-2, and Hessler followed her with a throw of 155-9 for third place. Chloe Enck also nabbed a top-five performance with a throw of 146-9.
Rounding out the throws events, Maddy Downs finished in sixth place in the shot put with a distance of 37-9 1/4.
On the track, Lindsay Solderitch took fourth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.28.
Lily LaBure ran in the 400-meter hurdles for the Marauders, finishing seventh with a time of 1:09.44.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Liz Schaefer took fifth place after finishing in 12:34.80.
