MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville men's tennis team secured the third seed in the upcoming PSAC Tournament with a 5–2 win over Bloomsburg.
The Huskies got the better of the Marauders in doubles play, taking two of the three matches, as
Valentin Ebner and
Jasper de Koning prevented the sweep with a 7–5 win. Millersville was able to emphatically bounce back in singles play, starting with two three-set wins from their top two seeds in
Dylan Tull's 4–6, 6–2, 6–1 win, and
Zach Pernia's 6–4, 2–6, 6–0 victory. Ebner and de Koning both won their individual match, Ebner coming away with a 7–5, 6–2 win and de Koning with a 6–2, 6–2 decision.
Breno Maciel played in the fifth spot for the Marauders, winning 6–2, 1–6, 6–1.
The Marauders have one last match in their regular season against Harford Community College at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at McComsey Tennis Courts.
