MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville men's tennis team ended its regular season on a high note with a 6–1 win over Harford Community College.
Doubles play started with the Marauders usual top duo of
Dylan Tull and
Zach Pernia split up between the top two pairings. Tull played with
Jasper de Koning to win 6–1, and Pernia paired up with
Breno Maciel to win 6–4. In the third doubles match,
Sebas Castro and
Victor Suarez took the match 6–1.
In singles play, Maciel moved up to the second seed and won 6–1, 7–5, while de Koning took the third spot in the lineup and won 6–2, 6–3.
Sandor Wulf moved into the lineup as well, winning the fourth match 3–6, 6–4, 10–8. Castro won the fifth match 6–0, 6–4, and Suarez rounded out the slate with a 6–1, 6–0 win.
The Marauders finished the 2023-24 regular season with a 12–6 overall record and a 4–2 in-conference record. Next up, they will travel to Bloomsburg to play Mercyhurst in the PSAC Tournament semifinals at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3.
