INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Millersville men's tennis team debuted as the No. 6 ranked team in the NCAA Regional Rankings.
The Marauders own an overall record against Division II opponents and regional record of 9–5. The top seven teams in each region earn spots in the NCAA Tournament, starting on May 13. The Marauders have made a conference tournament appearance in every full season since 2018-19, but are looking for their first NCAA Tournament berth since the 2010-11 season. The Marauders also recently hit the 10-win mark for the first time since that season earlier this week with their 7–0 win over Lebanon Valley College.
Millersville has won six straight matches with two remaining in the regular season. The Marauders have been led by the senior duo of
Dylan Tull, who won PSAC Athlete of the Week on April 8th, and
Zach Pernia as their top two players. Behind them has been
Lino Morin in the third spot, with contributions from
Jasper de Koning,
Breno Maciel,
Valentin Ebner, and
Sebas Castro rounding out the rest of the lineup.Â
