Millersville cheerleading to hold 2024-25 team tryouts on May 17-18

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville University cheerleading is set to hold tryouts for the 2024-25 team on May 17-18 at the Student Memorial Center's 'Ville Courts.
Students interested in trying out for the team must complete the registration steps and prepare for the tryout by following the steps listed below.
REGISTRATION
Step 1: Register for tryouts via Google form.
Step 2: All participants are required to complete the Millersville University Tryout Packet to be cleared to tryout.
Step 3: Once all requirements are complete, please email the following documents to millersvillecheer@gmail.com.
Day 1 - May 17, 6 p.m. (Skills evaluation, interviews and tryouts)

Step 3: Once all requirements are complete, please email the following documents to millersvillecheer@gmail.com.
- Signed waiver of liability, by parent or guardian if a minor
- Photo of your medical insurance card (front and back)
- Copy of physical within the last six months (all pages & must clearly state you are cleared for cheerleading activities)
- Sickle Cell waiver
Day 1 - May 17, 6 p.m. (Skills evaluation, interviews and tryouts)
- Check in at 6 p.m. - Attendees will check in to 'Ville Courts located in the Student Memorial Center with their M Number (can be found in MyVille Portal)
- All tryout candidates must wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt both in Millersville colors, cheer shoes, and "game day" hair and makeup.
- Interviews will be conducted with the coaching staff simultaneously with the material review portion of the tryout.
- Skills evaluation will consist of stunt basics: Extension pop-off, J-up, Quick toss, Lib & shoulder stands
- All candidates must learn the tryout sidelines and fight song prior to tryouts
- Videos of material.
- Team announcements will be made following the conclusion on Day 1
- Day two is for the selected 2024-2025 team only.
- A full program welcome meeting, overview of financial commitments, and program guidelines will be reviewed.
