
Stover, Dade too much for Huskies as Marauders roll

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Bloomsburg had no answer for Millersville's inside tandem of Drew Stover and Matt Dade. Stover scored 16 points and swatted five shots, and Dade scored 18 in leading Millersville to a 91-73 road win over the Huskies Saturday.
Millersville (18-4, 13-3 PSAC) won its fourth consecutive game and 10th in a row against Bloomsburg. The 18-point win was Millersville's largest margin of victory at Nelson Fieldhouse since 2003.
Stover made an impact at both ends, setting a career-high in blocks, leading the Marauders in rebounding with nine, and making 7 of 7 shots from the field. Dade connected on 7 of his 9 shots. Five Marauders reached double figures for the fourth game in a row, and Jaden Faulkner, who scored 14 points, added nine assists.
Millersville led for 39 of the game's 40 minutes, and a nearly eight-minute stretch during the first half in which Bloomsburg went scoreless, allowed the Marauders to build a 23-7 lead despite missing six of seven threes against the Huskies' packed-in zone. Millersville led by as many as 17 points in the first half. Bloomsburg crept to within 52-43, but Stover scored six-straight points and tallied nine as part of a 14-5 Marauder run. Bloomsburg got no closer than 14 points the rest of the way.
