Millersville cheerleading secures ninth in first nationals appearance

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Millersville cheer team secured a top-10 finish in its first ever appearance at the UCA College National Championship in Orlando, Fl. on Jan. 12.
The Marauders finished ninth out of 38 teams in the Open All Girl Game Day division. Millersville produced a score of 90.90 in the preliminary round to advance to the semifinals and clinched a spot in the final round with a 93.2. The Marauders finished with a 93.13 to earn the honor of being a top-10 team in the country in the Open All Girl Gameday division.
The Marauders will be featured in February when the finals for the UCA College National Championship air on ESPN.
