Marauders look to maintain momentum as they prepare to host Lock Haven

ABOUT THE MATCH

Millersville (3-0-1) will host the Bald Eagles of Lock Haven at Pucillo Field. This is the 22nd time these two teams have met, with their first matchup coming in 2006. The last time these two teams faced off at Pucillo Field was Sept. 17, 2022. That game resulted in a 3-3 tie, the first in the series' history.

Lock Haven is currently 2-1-1, having played four non-conference foes thus far. Their most recent victory was Sept. 13th against Slippery Rock, when the Bald Eagles defeated the Rockies 1-0. Millersville will be their first PSAC East opponent of the season.
Last season the Bald Eagles finished 6-7-5, placing them 5th in the PSAC East. Throughout their 2022 season they totaled 33 goals, 30 assists, and 63 saves.
Connor Swope was a top goal scorer and All-Region selection for the Bald Eagles in 2022, totaling 5 goals and 4 assists. Forward Austin Kravetz also returns for Lock Haven after a season in which he totaled 4 goals.

Millersville returns home after a 3-1 win over Shippensburg Wednesday afternoon. The Marauders now have an overall record of 3-0-1 and 1-0 in conference.
The Marauders have scored 10 goals so far this season, four of them coming off the foot of Senior Bob Hennessey. The team has out-shot opponents 61-35 while averaging 2.5 goals per game. Defensively, Millersville has allowed just five goals on 15 shots so far this season.
