Marauders continue to impress at Golden Ram Invitational

'Ville scores 164.5 to take first

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Millersville outdoor track and field team continued its hot start to the spring, winning the Golden Ram Invitational with a team score of 164.5. The next closest team was West Chester at 108.5 points.

Darian Hauf highlighted the Marauders' day with a first-place finish in the pole vault. The sophomore hit an NCAA qualifying distance of 12-03 ¼ while picking up 10 points for 'Ville. Hannah Woelfling picked up first-place finishes in both the hammer throw (184-03 ½) and discus (141-06), which earned 20 'Ville points.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Megan Malecki finished second in the pole vault with a PSAC qualifying distance of 11-00.
Cassie Sharrow (154-11) and Kandice Liebl (143-08 ¾) finished second and third in the hammer throw.
Aurora Conrad finished third in the 100-meter dash with a PSAC qualifying time of 12.49.
Sarah Hessler (40-1 ½), (Seya Trujillo (39-05 ½) and Maddy Downs (38-09 ¼) finished second, fourth and fifth respectively in the shot put and each hit PSAC qualifying distances.
Lyndsey Kregel (4-09 ¾) finished third in the high jump and earned seven points.
Emma Elwell finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.31, which earned four points for the Marauders.
Claire Coons and Mary Weis tied for fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.38.
Lauren Festa placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 32-01 ¾.
