BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Millersville women's tennis team's 2022-23 season came to a close Saturday in the PSAC Semifinals as it dropped a 4-0 decision to the PSAC West No. 1 seed Indiana (Pa.).
Millersville was making its third-straight PSAC Semifinals appearance, and the season ends with a 9-10 overall record. The Marauders were the No. 2 seed from the PSAC East with a 6-1 division record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• IUP's No. 1 team of Karolin Kirchtag and Katy Graydon topped
Noelle Htwar and
Hui Jen Soo by a 6-1 score, and at No. 2 doubles, Natalie Kmoskova and Joanna Stralka became handed the
Chloe Abramowitz and
Sophie Lanius duo their first loss as a team, 6-0. That clinched the match's first point and No. 3 doubles went unfinished.
• Stralka topped Abramowitz at No. 3 singles, Lydia Vlachou bested
Sarah McComas in the No. 5 slot, and Laura Dunarova took down
Kaitlyn Then in straight sets to give IUP its fourth point. All other matches were not finished.

• The six players in Millersville's lineup on Saturday are all expected to return in 2023-24. Abramowitz led the Marauders with a 14-9 singles record and went 12-9 in doubles, including 7-0 in PSAC East play. No. 1
