Eckert earns a place on the podium for the Marauders on day three of the PSAC Championship

YORK, Pa. – After three days of the PSAC Championships, the Millersville Marauders moved up to seventh place with 408 total points. West Chester still leads the team chase with 854 points and IUP sits in second with 515 points. Today's competition featured the 200 medley relay, 500 free, 100 back, 100 breaststroke, and 200 butterfly. Leah Eckert had a standout day for the Marauders, reaching the podium in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The Marauders compete in the last day of competition Feb.18 starting at 10 a.m. Tomorrow's events with include the 1,650 free, 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, and the 400 free relay.
DAY THREE HIGHLIGHTS
- Leah Eckert took fifth place in the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.22. This is the highest placement for any individual so far this year.
- The 200 relay medley team of Claire Weaver, Leah Eckert, Kristen Maile, and Jordan Plempel finished seventh (1:48.44), earning 46 points for the Marauders.
- Jane McClelland took 12th place in the 500 free (5:12.90), adding 15 points to the team's total for the day.
- Plempel scored her third top-eight finish of the championships, finishing eighth in the 100 breast (1:07.98), bringing in 22 points.
- Maile rounded out the day with a 16th-place finish in the 200 fly, tacking on 11 points to the Millersville total.
