ABOUT THE GAME
- Millersville men's soccer is eager and determined to regain the PSAC Championship, a tournamen they won three times from 2018-2021. The first obstacle that stands between the Marauders and the trophy is the No. 3 seed, Seton Hill Griffins. The Marauders received a first round bye after the first-place finish in the PSAC East. The team has been using the time to rest, recover, and prepare. The Griffins are coming off a 1-0 victory over Mercyhurst in the quarterfinal match. It was evenly played match with Seton Hill winning on a second half goal by James Aubrey.
- These two teams met earlier this season on Sept. 9 at Pucillo Field. The Marauders defeated the Griffins 2-0 with goals from Bob Hennessey and Michael Dempsey.
- The winner of Friday’s match earns a trip to the PSAC Championship to battle against the winner of the other semifinal featuring No. 1 seed Gannon vs. No. 3 seed West Chester. That game takes place on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. in Erie, Pa.
- Seton Hill is looking to advance to the PSAC Championship match for the first time while Millersville has reached the title match eight times since 2008.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS
- The Marauders dominated the Eastern Division, finishing the regular season with just one loss to West Chester back in late September.
- Millersville has outplayed opponents in several categories including goals (31-15), shots (235-122), corner kicks (101-50), and assists (32-8).
- PSAC East Athlete of the Year, Bob Hennessey has demonstrated his talents and leadership recording seven goals, five assists, and over 900 minutes this season. His ability to not only score but create plays in the midfield and down the sideline has been key to the Marauders success.
- Richy Valverde, Roy Parkyn, and Zander Leik have also been crucial assets to the Marauders offensive attack. These three have combined for 13 assists and 10 goals so far this season. Newcomers Redshirt Freshman Connor Fiadino and newcomers Josh Rodriguez and Michael Dempsey have also added to the mix.
- Marauder defender Aaron Maynard was just named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. His composure in the back field has helped the Marauders maintain leads and win games. Maynard's composure added to the aggressiveness and attack from defenders Jake Altimore, Cody Scully, and Mike Kreider has created an unbreakable back line for Millersville.
- Travis Holiday has had an outstanding year in net totaling seven shutouts in 14 games. Holiday leads the conference in goals against average (.544) and saves (35).
- The Marauders have won their last seven games--all against PSAC East opponents.
SCOUTING THE GRIFFINS
- Seton Hill finished their season third in the PSAC West, 15 points behind Gannon, who finished in first.
- The Griffins won their last two matches leading into the semifinal, including a 1-0 victory over Mercyhurst in the quarterfinal on Nov.6.
