LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - After leading the Millersville men's basketball team to a 2-0 start, junior
Drew Stover has been named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
Stover, a junior, led the Marauders with 19.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 75% from the field. Against Livingstone in the season opener, Stover poured in a career-high 25 points on 12-of-15 shooting. He also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out two assists.
The next afternoon, Stover scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, made 2-of-2 from the line, and tallied six boards and a blocked shot.
Millersville was one of just two teams in the PSAC East to make it through the opening weekend undefeated. The Marauders are back in action on Wednesday at Bowie State.
