MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersvillr had a troublesome time finding the back of the net as the Shippensburg managed to defend their 1-0 lead.
The Marauders made every effort to try and get the ball in the back of the net but they were unsuccessful as they fell short to the Raiders. The Raiders' lone goal came from Nicole Tormann in the 24th minute of play as she just tapped the ball in the net with an assist from Gabrielle Walker. The Marauders had their fair chances of opportunities as they generated nine corner kicks, took 14 shots on the game and framed seven. Kiley Marandola and Maddie Zielke were prominent in the Marauder attack as they both had a pair of shots on goal. As for the goalkeepers, Bella Fiorenza logged two saves for the Marauders in net while Morgan Molyneaux saved seven shots for the Raiders.
On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the Marauders will travel at 1 p.m. on the road to West Chester and look to defeat them once again this season.
