Marauders fall to Kutztown, 2-0

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's soccer team fell at home to Kutztown on Saturday afternoon, 2-0.

The Marauders (1-5-2, 1-4-2 PSAC East) held the Golden Bears (5-2-1, 4-2-1 PSAC East) scoreless for the first 35 minutes of action until regaining PSAC East Athlete of the Year, Kayla Argen bent a corner kick into the top right corner of the Marauder net, giving KU a 1-0 advantage.

The Golden Bears would score an insurance goal in the 65', which led to their eventual two-goal victory.

Matt Procopio's team played without their starting goalkeeper, Reagan Kolinski, who suffered an injury in Wednesday's draw against East Stroudsburg. Bella Fiorenza made the first start of her college career - recording five saves while facing 11 shots.
