ABOUT THE GAME

  • Millersville women's lacrosse is set to face off with unbeaten No. 4 East Stroudsburg on Saturday on Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium. The Marauders are currently coming off a three-game winning streak and sit at No. 3 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Standings, while the Warriors top the eastern division with an unbeaten 10-0 (6-0 PSAC East) record. The previous time these two teams met resulted in a 19-6 triumph for ESU on its home field.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS

  • Kristi Kada, Gillian Zimmerman, Amanda Juliano and Grace Cobaugh have led the Marauders to a top-five PSAC offense through the team's first eleven games and the program's best start since 2001 at 8-3. The Marauders are outscoring their opponents 158-103 on the season and outshooting opposing teams 361-259.
  • Zimmerman and Kada lead the team in scoring this season, each eclipsing the 30-goal mark already, as Zimmerman leads the team with 35 and Kada follows with 31.
  • Juliano currently leads the team in points with 48, coming from 26 goals and a team-high 22 assists.
  • Cobaugh ranks top-five in the conference in draw controls per game with just over six, she also leads the team with 74 this season.
  • Morgan Scott has started every game for the Marauders and put together a solid 8-3 record in goal. Scott ranks top-10 in every PSAC goalkeeping category thus far and will look to continue success against one of the nation's top teams, a team she had trouble with earlier in the year.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS

  • The No. 4 Warriors currently lead the PSAC in goals scored with 170 on the season and have outscored their opponents 170-64 through 10 games played. This potent offense is led by Emily Mitarotonda who leads the group with 38 goals, she's joined by Gianna LeDuc and Kiki Fitzpatrick who both have scored 31 goals this season. The Warriors have won seven of their 10 games by 10 or more goals and have won their last three by a combined score of 52-13.
