'Ville picks up four wins at Paul Kaiser Classic

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Millersville University track and field team competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday, hosted by Shippensburg University. There was no team scoring at the meet.

In total, 'Ville recorded four wins, four NCAA marks and 16 PSAC qualifying marks.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Darian Hauf won the pole vault with a height of 12-6 ¾**.
Aliyah Striver won the shot put (47-4 ¼**) while Hannah Woelfling took third (43-1 ½*).
Woelfling won the discus (152-2**) while Striver took second (149-7*).
Woelfling also won the hammer with a distance of 195-9** while Cassie Sharrow took third at 163-8*. Maddy Downs took sixth at 143-4*.
Sharrow also took sixth in the javelin at 120-5*.
Emma Elwell placed first in the 100-meter prelims (12.37*) while taking fifth in the finals at 12.75. She also took third in the 200-meter clocking in at 25.84*.
Aubrey Sydnor took second in the 400-meter at 57.06*.
Morgan Janiuk took fifth in the 800-meter at 2:20.61*.
Abbey Sullivan took ninth in the 1,500-meter at 4:58.52.
Kait Leister (40:47.97*) and Hali Wagner (40:49.46*) took fourth and fifth in the 10,000-meter.
De'Asia Holloman took fourth in the 100-hurdles at 14.69*.
