FROSTBURG, Md. - It was Millersville's fourth match in five days, and the result was the same--another win. The 'Ville women's tennis team swept Frostburg State 7-0 to extend its winning streak to nine.
Earlier in the week, the Marauders landed at No. 8 in the first NCAA Atlantic Region rankings, they have done nothing but improve their postseason resume since. Three of the four wins so far this week have come by 7-0 scores. Millersville is now 13-5 and have won more matches than any Marauder team since 2002.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Maria Ojeda and
Chloe Abramowitz swept their opponents 6-0 at No. 3 doubles for their third consecutive victory. The No. 1 duo of
Julie Wallace and
Noelle Htwar won 6-3 for their team-leading 14th win of the season, and the No. 2 team of
Jasmine Morris and
Kelsey Heckert won 6-1 to put their season win total into double-digits (10-7).
• After dropping the first set of her match at No. 1 singles in a tiebreaker, Morris rallied and took the next two sets with ease to get the Marauders started in singles, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 6-2. The other five singles matches were decided in straight sets with Millersville not dropping more than three games in any set. Ojeda (No. 2) and Wallace (No. 4) both won by 6-0, 6-0 shutout.
