LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Bailey Hunt scored a game-tying goal with two seconds remaining in regulation during Wednesday night's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division matchup at Lock Haven that allowed the Millersville women's soccer team to escape with one point in the PSAC East standings.
The first half of play was defensive minded as the teams combined for a total of four shots -- Millersville sent three in, while Lock Haven challenged
Reagan Kolinski once. The Marauders sent all of their first-half chances on-goal, however, Bald Eagle keeper, Megan Miller stopped all three.
The scoring began roughly 20 minutes into the second half when Josie Swartz found Mackenzie Hernley for a go-ahead goal. The score came on Lock Haven's third shot of the evening and first on-goal.
Matt Procopio's group continued to fight despite the deficit, and it paid off. Millersville drew a corner with just over 10 seconds left in regulation, which was taken by
Emma Elwell. The junior quickly sprinted to the right corner of Lock Haven's goal-line, placed the ball down and sent a pin-point pass to the far side of Bald Eagle goal area. Hunt snuck in behind the scrambled Lock Haven defense to meet Elwell's ball and fire in the game-tying goal.
Millersville sits at No. 7 in the PSAC East with six games remaining in the regular season.

Thoughts on the match:Â "Resilient effort; they don't give up, that's for sure. Fought until the end. Glad we found the goal, but I feel like we were a bit off today; struggled to find our rhythm. Hopefully this can turn the tide for us."
