MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's soccer team fell to No. 2 West Chester on Wednesday night at Pucillo Field, 2-0. The Marauders were held scoreless by the nationally ranked Golden Rams, who haven't given up a goal since their previous match against the Marauders on Sept. 28, making Wednesday's victory the team's seventh consecutive shutout performance.
Millersville (3-8-5, 3-7-5 PSAC East) held West Chester scoreless for the first 40 minutes of play until Olivia Gentile sent a strike past
Bella Fiorenza from outside the Marauder box that put the Golden Rams up one going into the half.
West Chester (16-0, 15-0 PSAC East) would extend its lead in the 51' when Alyson Cutter converted a breakaway chance.
The Marauders end their 2022 home slate with a 2-4-2 record.
