Pili Zaballa commemorated their Senior Day celebrations with a combined four goals and two assists, and freshmen
Emily Buss and
Paige Webster scored their first career goals as the Millersville field hockey team overpowered Slippery Rock 6-2 Friday at Biemesderfer Stadium.
Strickland recorded two goals, scoring the team's third and sixth goals of the game. That performance boosted her single-season total to 15, moving her into third place all-time. Ehrlacher's goal was her first of the season. Yetter's goal was her second of the season while Buss and Webster scored for the first time.
Millersville started quickly as Ehrlacher scored just 5:25 into the game. Buss, Strickland and Webster took turns scoring as Millersville built a 4-0 lead with 12 minutes to play in the first half. Yetter added her tally in the 27th minute, giving Millersville a 5-1 lead at the break. Just over four minutes into the fourth quarter, Zaballa assisted Strickland for her second assist of the game while helping Strickland compete the hat trick.
