YORK, Pa. – Winter break and a new calendar year did nothing to slow down the Millersville University swim team, as the Marauders continued their dominate season with a pair of convincing wins on Saturday, in a tri-meet against York College and Messiah University.
The Marauders won by a final of 171-74 against York, and 136.50-119.50 against Messiah, as Eric Usbeck's team continued their historic run, improving to 8-0 on the season. The perfect record is the longest win streak to open a season in program history.
The Marauders took first in 10 out of the 14 events over the course of the meet.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
REACTION FROM HEAD COACH ERIC USBECK
"Coming off winter break and being around each other again I think we had a positive showing that we are still ready to swim fast and compete. I am excited to see how our squad does in the next couple weeks competing at more meets prior to the PSAC Championships."
