  • Since 2012, Millersville has reached the PSAC Tournament title game five times and the semifinals three times. Millersville's last PSAC Championship came in 2016. Since the field expanded to six teams, Millersville is 3-0 in first round games, winning at Shippensburg 2-1 in 2019, beating Kutztown 2-0 in 2018 and beating Bloomsburg 2-0 at home in 2016. Under Coach Shelly Behrens, Millersville is 7-1 in its first game of the PSAC Tournament. With four championships all-time (1985, 1986, 2013, 2016), Millersville ranks third among all PSAC schools.
  • IUP is making its first appearance in the tournament since 2016 and its ninth all-time. Under Gary Agard, the Crimson Hawks has reached the tournament five times. IUP's one PSAC Championship came in 2007.
  • Millersville's only three losses this season have come against the top three teams in the PSAC standings, two of which were on the road, and two of which were by a one goal margin. Millersville is 10-1 at home with the lone loss coming it its last home game against East Stroudsburg. Despite all of the team's success in recent years, the program has hosted just two PSAC Tournament games under Behrens. Millersville has won both of those games.
I am proud of this team for earning a PSAC playoff spot, and we love that we get to be at home. Truly, we love where we are and will look to extend our season.
Shelly Behrens, Millersville head coach
