GREENSBURG, Pa. - Millersville women's volleyball rallied from a first set defeat to top Seton Hill 3-2 (10-25, 25-18, 25-15, 22-25, 15-11) for a key PSAC road win Saturday afternoon.
It was a bounce-back performance for the Marauders, who suffered a heartbreaking five-set loss to Cal U less than 24 hours earlier. It was also the Marauders' first-ever win over Seton Hill, a NCAA Tournament team in 2018. The Griffins dropped to 5-5 (1-1) with the loss while Millersville boosted its record to 11-4 (1-1).

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BRIAN SMITH
• On the slow start: "We started out looking slow. The first set got away from us. They hit three serves that hit the tape and fell over. It was bad luck and threw us off a little bit. I had a conversation with the captains and seniors before the match and reminded them to let last night's match go. We knew it was going to be a battle today. We needed to focus on what we needed to do and not focus on the score. After the first set, it was a reminder that it was only one set. If we could improve our passing, we could hang with that team."
• On adjustments after the first set: "We made a change today after last night. We started using Chyna as a middle. We let Chyna serve because she serves deep and teams have a problem with that. She's also a strong defensive player. It worked out well for us today. We also subbed in
Samantha Miller as a server in the fifth set and she played well on defense. Her passing was strong, so that was significant for us."
• On beating Seton Hill: "This match was significant. We pulled the team together and I said 'thank you for my first win over Seton Hill.' But the fact that we battled back after last night is big and it's a win that helps us keep pace in the division."
NOTES
• Dalstad recorded four aces for the second time this year. The four stand as a season-high for the team.
• Millersville's 10 aces were the second-most of the season.
