ABOUT THE MARAUDERS

• The Marauders trailed by only one at halftime, but the offense mustered just three goals in the second half. Mercyhurst won four-consecutive draw controls and scored four-subsequent goals to put the game out of reach.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN BEARS
• Kutztown boasts a record of 6-6, 5-4 in PSAC play, a big improvement from last season's 6-11, 3-9 PSAC campaign. After three-straight wins, the Golden Bears are 2-2 over their last four games.
• Kutztown is in the middle of the pack of every statistical category in the PSAC, except for their 178 clears which are the second-fewest in the conference.
• The Golden Bears are coming off of a 14-12 win at home against Lock Haven. The Bald Eagles led by one early in the second half, but five-straight goals by Kutztown sparked it to a victory. Three Golden Bears totaled five points, including Makayla Bowman who scored five goals. Megan Vaughan made four saves for Kutztown.
• Lauren Schmidt leads the team in points (36) and draw controls (36) and is tied with Bowman for the team lead in goals (25). Erin Vaughan Ware isn't far behind with 35 points, while Destanee Watkins is ranked first on the Golden Bears in ground balls (46) and caused turnovers (21). Watkins is also fourth in the PSAC in ground balls per game (3.8).
• Vaughan boasts a record of 4-3 in net and has 57 saves, an 11.71 GAA and a .410 save percentage.
