HEAD COACH MARY FLEIG QUOTES
• "It was a credit to the kids' mental and how they mentally recovered from yesterday, which was a tough loss, to now be at a level to play California and start the game well. We didn't start the game yesterday well, so that was huge."
• "The water that I got in the locker room said it all. We are just so excited and I am so proud of the way they all played, each kid individually and as a team. It's the best way to go into the holiday break. They need rest. This break is going to help."
• "We just fed off Lauren Lister's adrenaline. She impressed a lot of people. How she persevered and just gutted it out said a lot. They felt that they got to play with the Millersville pride that we've been preaching since day one. I'm just so proud they got to see that."
• "Mia Leonard is the most improved player from day one to now. How far she has come is a credit to our coaching staff and our post coaches who have helped develop her and her working hard. She's a great learner."
• "We talked about inconsistent yesterday and we were consistent today. We need to be consistent now as we come back in January and February. It's a great confidence and pride to take into the next year."
