Marauders return home to face Seton Hill in third dual meet of season

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville Marauders return home to Pucillo Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon to face Seton Hill in what will be the Ville's first dual meet of 2019 in which they are not wrestling a nationally-ranked opponent. Seton Hill has not yet wrestled a dual meet this season, although they have competed in two tournaments to open their schedule. Millersville gave No. 15-ranked Kutztown a challenge last Wednesday night, winning four matches before losing the eventual dual 24-13.

ABOUT THE MARAUDERS

• Nine freshmen and sophomores wrestled in the Millersville lineup in Wednesday's dual meet against Kutztown.There are 23 freshmen and sophomores on the Millersville roster in 2019.

Jonathan Parrilla and Jarrett Feeney picked up the first wins of their collegiate careers in Wednesday's dual meet.

• Millersville has recorded 12 falls, five technical falls, and five major decisions in the 2019-2020 season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

• At last Saturday's Findlay Open, six Griffins placed in the top six and four placed fourth in their respective weight classes.
• The team finished second in the team score at the Mount Union Invitational two weeks ago, with eleven wrestlers placing.
• Brandon Matthews took home the Mount Union Invitational 174-pound bracket, while three other Griffins (Alan Diltz, Austin Shaw, and Jake Beistel) claimed runner-up spots.
