ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville has won three-straight PSAC East games for the first time since 2014 and three in a row for just the second time since February of 2015. The Marauders enter Wednesday's game with Lock Haven looking to win four in a row for the first time since January of 2015. Both of Millersville's last two wins have come on go-ahead shots in the final minute and both have come on the road. Those wins improved Millersville to 4-1 on the road in PSAC play. Millersville had gone a combined 14-55 on the road over the previous five seasons, winning no more than four total road games in any of those seasons. Since Dec. 1, Millersville is 7-4 with the four losses coming by an average of 6.25 points. The only three home games Millersville has lost are to teams with a combined 42-10 record.
• Millersville has won three in a row against Lock Haven, including sweeping last season's series. Last season's games were decided by a total of six points, and in the 13 meetings since 2012-13, nine of the games have been decided by single digits. Millersville has won 10 of the last 12 meetings inside Pucillo Gymnasium.Â
• After sinking 8-of-16 3-pointers against Kutztown, Millersville moved up to second in the PSAC in 3-point shooting at .384. The Marauders also rank fifth in total field goal percentage. While the Marauders shoot it accurately from three, they have outscored opponents in the paint in 14 of 16 games and are 10-5 when they do so.Â
• Millersville has scored 90 or more in two of the last three games and has hit 90 points five times. The last time the Marauders scored 90 or more five times in a season was in 2006-07--a season in which they won the PSAC Championship and went 28-5.Â
• During Millersville's recent three-game winning streak,
Caden Najdawi has averaged 17.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and more than one block and steal per game. He had back-to-back double-doubles against Mansfield and Bloomsburg and totaled 24 points at Kutztown. Najdawi is a key to Millersville's success. Najdawi has averaged 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds with 12 total blocks in the team's 10 wins. But Najdawi has averaged 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds in the team's seven losses. He has knocked down 21-of-32 free throws in the wins but just 7-of-16 in the losses.Â
•
Marcus Adkison has scored 1,250 points as a Marauder and is three points away from moving past Kenny Brown (1988-93) into 23rd place all-time. Including his points at Shepherd, Adkison is at 1,402 points, which would be good for 17th. Adkison also needs just 10 steals to move into 10th place. His 212 threes put him 12 away from fifth.Â
