Faulkner wins second PSAC East Freshman of the Week award

Lock Haven, Pa. – After hitting two game-winning shots in a span of six days, Millersville's Jaden Faulkner was named PSAC East Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
Faulkner averaged 20.5 points per game while shooting 16-for-28 from the field and averaged 7.0 assists and 2.0 steals in the road wins over Bloomsburg and Kutztown.
At Bloomsburg, Faulkner scored a career-high 24 points on 11-of-13 shooting and adding five assists, six rebounds and three steals. Faulkner's lay-up with 10 seconds left broke a 71-71 tie and helped Millersville to its first win at Bloomsburg in 11 years.
On Monday at Kutztown, Faulkner scored 17 points and matched a career high with eight assists. He also scored with 55 seconds to play, giving Millersville a 93-92 lead. Millersville would go on to win 94-92.
Faulkner has won the PSAC East Freshman of the Week award twice in the month of January. He and classmate Justin Nwosu have combined to win the award four times.
Faulkner and the Marauders are back in Pucillo Gymnasium Wednesday, Jan. 22 for a 7:30 p.m., tip against Lock Haven.
