HEAD COACH STEVE WIDDOWSON QUOTES
• "I'm extremely proud of their performance tonight. The boys responded perfectly to Thursday's disappointing result by putting in a 90 minute performance full of commitment, passion and courage."
• "We needed to create more goal scoring opportunities than we did on Thursday and could easily have had three or four goals tonight, but that sharpness will come with a bit more training ground work. I'm happier about getting a shutout though. I know we will score goals. We have to make sure we limit the other team and we did that very well tonight."
• "We executed the game plan very well but most importantly we controlled the game with our possession which was significantly better than Thursday. The other thing was the energy the whole team brought in. Even guys that didn't play tonight made a great contribution with their enthusiasm and encouragement. They helped us win as much as anyone."
• "[
Chase Flickinger] was very good tonight. He threatened all game but did all the defensive work as well. I'm very happy with his performance and threat but the guys around him supported him and allowed him to be successful. Lots of guys stepped up today and that's what we need."

Spencer Shortt. Shortt made a short pass slipping it through the defense to
