GAME NOTES
• It's the final weekend game of 2018 at Biemesderfer Stadium for the lacrosse team. Therefore, it's time to celebrate the careers of seniors Kristen Butzner, Sabrina Fusco, Callie Kavanaugh and Morgan Masiejczyk. These four players had an immense impact on the program while wearing the black and gold, including the program's first trip to the playoffs, since 2001, in the 2016 season, and the program's first national ranking under Head Coach Mia Hall this season. Fusco and Masiejczyk were two of the first three captains appointed under Coach Hall's tenure. Fusco led the attacking unit while Masiejczyk captained the defense.
• Of course, a game will be played following the Senior Day festivities, and Millersville is bringing momentum back to Biemesderfer Stadium. The team won two of its three away games during its three-game road trip away from Millersville. The Marauders outscored their three opponents 41-26 and picked up wins at Shepherd University and at Kutztown University.
• Butzner enjoyed a meteoric rise this season. Her 54 assists this season ranks second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and fourth in all of Division II. Now, she has an opportunity to put an exclamation point on her Senior Day. After scoring seven points at Kutztown, she moved her season tally to 78. She now sits four points away from breaking Bridget Hufnagel's single-season points record of 81 set in 2016.
• Fusco is approaching another record in her history-making final season. Following five second-half goals at Kutztown, she moved her season tally to 58, which topped her career-best 56 goals in 2016. Fusco sits 12 goals away from breaking, Millersville Hall of Fame Class of 17's, Elizabeth Weekley's single-season record of 69 goals set in 2008. Fusco's 58 goals ranks first in the PSAC and tied for 17th in Division II.
• Masiejczyk's unit played high-pressure defense all season and currently ranks 26th in Division II in scoring defense and 27th in caused turnovers. The defense complimented the offense all season and helped Millersville earn a 5.9 goal scoring margin which ranks third in the PSAC.
• Kavanaugh's offensive output is crucial for Millersville success. She ranks second on the team and seventh in the PSAC with 39 goals. She also ranks third on the team with 50 points.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Gannon struggled throughout 2018 and ranks second-to-last in the conference standings after compiling a 3-8 record including a 2-7 PSAC record.
• Gannon's defense experienced a difficult season and conceded 153 goals. While this ranks in the middle of the conference, the team's inability to counter on offense only yielded 113 goals which ranked second-to-last in the conference.
• However, Gannon have a pair of potent offensive players that will require the full attention of the Millersville defense. Erin Rotando and Leilani King combined for 60 goals and they both individually rank in the top-10 in the PSAC in goals per game.
