Millersville, Pa. – Sophomore
Emma Bevard pitched a no-hitter in game two, helping the Millersville University softball team to a 3-0 win over Pitt-Johnstown Wednesday afternoon. The Marauders took game one with a 7-3 victory.
The Marauders improve to 19-14 overall and the Mountain Cats move to 8-16. Five Marauders recorded doubles in game one. Millersville collected 15 hits on the day.

Kaelyn Buskey totaled three hits with a double that erased the 3-3 tie in game one and also hit a home run. Freshman Devan Mascuilli had her sixth multi-hit game this season in game one, going 2 for 4.

Raeann Buskey hit a double to left center in the bottom of the fourth inning that brought in senior
Megan McCurdy from second. In the next inning, junior
Maggie Murphy hit a double that scored one.
Kaelyn Buskey then hit a three-run home run, giving Millersville a 7-3 advantage and the eventual win. Buskey's homer was her second of the season.
The Marauders began their day with a three-run first inning. Mascuilli bunted down the first base line and a throwing error brought freshman
Allie Janowiak to third. Janowiak scored in the next at-bat. Freshman
Faith Willenbrock and Kaeln Buskey doubled in their at-bats, driving in one each.
Pitt-Johnstown bounced back with a three-run top of the second inning. Bree Ginther of Pitt-Johnstown had a bases-clearing double to center field that brought in two runs and then advanced to third on the throw into the infield. Later in the inning, Sydney Flinn stole second base and Ginther sneaked home to score and tie the game.
K. Buskey led the Marauders by going 2 for 3 with three RBIs. Mascuilli went 2 for 4.
Senior pitcher
Cassidy Pinchorski had her fifth complete game and her sixth win of the season. Pinchorski gave up seven hits and two walks while striking out one batter.
Game Two
Bevard was brilliant in recording a no-hitter in the second game. Bevard struck out five batters and only allowed one base runner, who was hit by a pitch. It was Bevard's second career no-hitter.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning. A fielding error by the shortstop allowed pinch runner
Nicole Burke to score. R. Buskey added a clutch single to left field that brought
Megan McCurdy home.
Willenbrock extended the lead with her 11th home run of the season.
Five Marauders had one hit each.

The Marauders return to Seaber Softball Stadium for their fourth consecutive home doubleheader Friday, April 20 when they face Kutztown. First pitch is at 2:30 p.m.
