SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats arrive in Millersville, PA. after a rollercoaster-like four game stretch. The Bobcats were benefactors and victims of lopsided victories in their first week of play. They enjoyed a 23-8 victory over Randolph before falling 19-1 at PSAC opponent Slippery Rock. Two days after the loss at the Rock, the Bobcats drew with Frostburg St. 12-12. Finally, the Bobcats picked up a 14-10 victory over Ursuline on March 4.
• West Virginia Wesleyan is averaging 12.5 goals per game after scoring 50 in its first four games. The Bobcats are accurate near the goal with 82 of their 110 shots placed on goal. The game against Slippery Rock hurt the team's stats defensively. Against it's only PSAC opponent so far this season, the Bobcats conceded 39 shots and nine free-position shots. The Rock was also able to dominate the midfield and earned 12 successful clearances on 16 attempts.
• Hannah Antonelli, Kimberly Lubic, and Madison Duvall lead the attack as the trio have all scored double-digit goals and combined for 34 of the team's 50 goals. They are always looking to shoot and have combined for 70 shots including 51 shots on goal. Millersville will need to neutralize the trio if they are going to pick up its second straight win at Chryst Field.
