ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville hits the road for back-to-back PSAC West road games at Clarion and Pitt-Johnstown. In its last outing (Dec. 8), Millersville won its first road game of the season and did so by 31 points--its widest margin of victory in a road game since 2008. Millersville is above .500 nine games into the season for the first time since 2012-13.
• Following the Seton Hill win,
Justin Nwosu was named PSAC East Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. He is the first PSAC East player this season to win the award twice. Nwosu has made his last four 3-pointer attempts and has scored 27 in his last two games.
•
Marcus Adkison has scored 24 or more in three consecutive games and no other Marauder has done that in the last 17 years (game-by-game records began in 2001-02). Adkison now ranks third in the PSAC in scoring average, 15th in field goal percentage, fourth in 3-point field goal percentage and second in free throw percentage.
• Against Seton Hill, Millersville recorded a season-high 16 steals. The Marauders have tallied 10 or more steals five times already this season and rank fifth in the PSAC in steals per game (9.56). Millersville is the only team with three players ranked in the top 20 in steals. Millersville's trio, however, is ranked in the top seven.
Marcus Adkison and
Jamal Washington are tied for fourth with 2.3 per game, and
James Sullivan is seventh at 2.0 per game.
