ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
•  Millersville is looking for its first 4-2 start since 2012-13 while also looking to bounce back from last week's loss at Jefferson. The Marauders are 0-2 in true road games this season and a combined 5-24 in road games over the last three seasons. Wilmington is 1-1 at home this season and 20-10 over the last three.
• Expect a close game Tuesday night. Eight of the last 10 meetings have been decided by five or fewer points. The teams have played six times in the last seven seasons with Wilmington winning four of those, including each of the last two. Millersville has lost three in a row at Wilmington but all of those losses were by a combined total of 12 points. Millersville's last win at Wilmington came in 1997-98. In his two career games against Wilmington, Marcus Adkison has averaged 23.0 points per game with a game of 22 points and one of 24. He has shot 10 of 18 from three in those two games.
•  Millersville has been an efficient offensive team through the first five games, shooting better than 40 percent from the field in every game and shooting better than 44 percent four times. Millersville ranks sixth in the PSAC in scoring offense at 79.8 points per game, sixth in field goal percentage at .466 and fourth in 3-point field goal percentage at .371. One area where the Marauders can improve is at the line, where its .674 free throw percentage ranks 13th in the 17-team league. The Marauders, however, turned in their best free-throw shooting performance of the season in its last outing, knocking down 22 of 27 against Jefferson.
•  Marcus Adkison is continuing to build a reputation as one of the best shooters in the PSAC. He currently ranks 19th in field goal percentage despite over half (35 of 67) of his attempts coming from three. Adkison ranks fourth in 3-point shooting percentage and fifth in free throw percentage (.905). Adkison set Millersville's single-season record for free throw shooting last season and his current career percentage of .831 is well ahead of the current record of .822 held by Mike Seibert
Justin Nwosu was named the PSAC East Freshman of the Week last week, and has been a consistent performer, scoring in double figures in three of the last four games. He has at least eight points and has shot 50 percent from the field in each of the last four. His classmate, Jaden Faulkner was slowed by an injury early and missed the second game of the season. But the game against Jefferson was a breakout performance. He scored a career-high 16 points, hitting 7 of 10 shots. This came one game after totaling a career-high six assists against Lincoln.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
•     Wilmington is in its fifth season under Dan Burke, who has led the team to 19 and 16 wins in each of the last two seasons. Wilmington is a battle-tested team early in the season, having played PSAC East powers Shippensburg (L, 76-59) and most recently West Chester (W, 68-64). The Wildcats also lost to unbeaten St. Thomas Aquinas and played an exhibition at Division I Delaware.
•    Wilmington held West Chester to 6 of 30 shooting from three and out-scored the Golden Rams 41-36 in the second half. Jermaine Head scored 27 on 10 of 19 shooting. That's been a common occurrence for Head this season, as he has topped 20 points in four of five games and scored 31 against Bridgeport.
•    Denzil Haynes and Dawson Grinnage control the glass, averaging 8.4 and 7.6 rebounds per game respectively.

THE LAST MEETING (Wilmington 76, Millersville 75) - Nov. 15, 2017)
• Shawn Church hit a 3-pointer with seconds to play, capping Wilmington's rally from 17 points down with less than nine minutes to play, shocking Millersville 76-75. Marcus Adkison finished with a team-high 24 points and gave the Marauders sizable lead by scoring 15 points in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Wilmington's Jermaine Head, who led all scorers with 32, captained the comeback with 21 points in 20 minutes.
